The Gran Teatre del Liceu has commissioned us to create a photograph of the chorus and orchestra for the 2022-2023 season that expressed the institution’s essential values.

We view this campaign as an opportunity for the theatre’s artistic corps to embody the institution’s essence: the light, magic, power, imagination, creativity and poetry that bond the Teatre del Liceu to its audience.

We portray the theatre’s artistic corps as the Liceu’s tangible, visible elements, showing their integration with the opera house against an expressive, theatrical backdrop.

To convey this message, we use a simple, powerful image that creatively presents the orchestra and chorus as the institution’s face and illuminating it with an expansive, welcoming smile, the smile of the Liceu.
