The Mahler Chamber Orchestra really believes in its Academy as a source of musical and personal education for the professional musicians of the future. This is why it is so important for them to ensure close contact with the MCO teachers and to organize encounters where they not only prepare concerts together but also share their experiences inside and outside the concert halls.
This video portrait aims to transmit this spirit, the enthusiasm of the students and the true commitment of these true professionals when preparing together Mahler’s Symphony No. 2 for their tour of Germany. And all this is seen from the viewpoint of three young musicians who meet up despite coming from totally different parts of the world.
